arly this month, our team met Janie Press, President of Holocaust Music Lost & Found (HMFL), and attended a moving concert by Jeanne Golan, who performed works composed during the Holocaust for students at The Bronx High School of Science. We were joined by Josh Binderman from the Mayor’s Office to Combat Antisemitism, Vice Principal David Colchamiro, Social Studies teacher Elizabeth MacEnulty, and HMFL Board Members Geri Palast and Dr. Sam Gubins.
The visit continued at the Holocaust Museum & Studies Center, exploring more than 900 artifacts and an impressive student-led tour from Ms. MacEnulty’s class.
We are grateful to witness HMFL’s powerful work thanks to NYC Public Schools and the rich history preserved at the museum!
