Holocaust Music Lost & Found (HMLF) and the Polish Chamber Musicians’ Association (PCMA) will present “Refugees of World War II: Reclaiming the Music of Polish Composers” on Nov. 9 at Temple Israel of Boston.
The program explores the life stories and music of Polish composers affected by the Nazi regime, including works by Szymon Laks, Mieczyslaw Weinberg, and Roman Ryterband. The concert coincides with the remembrance of Kristallnacht, the pogrom carried out against Jewish communities in Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic on Nov. 9 and 10, 1938.
